Best Halloween Costumes for Blondes
Searching for a Halloween costume but no clue where to start? In this blog series, we’re sharing the best halloween costumes based on your hair color… and we’re starting with our most popular shade: blondes (because of course, everything is about your hair here). Keep scrolling for the best halloween costumes for blondes in 2020!
1. Britney Spears

Naturally we’re starting the list with Britney. She’s one of the best halloween costumes for blondes – there have been so many iconic Britney looks, you could even make this a group costume and go as Britney Through The Years! Don’t forget a set of Natural Blonde clip-in extensions (unless you’re doing Oops! I Did It Again Britney… in which case, we suggest a wrap ponytail).
2. Alice in Wonderland

Alice is a classic look for Halloween, and an easy halloween costume for blondes to pull off. Simply straighten your hair, pop in a few extensions for additional length, and finish it off with a black bow headband. A light blue dress and white tie-on apron will round out your look and create an easily recognizable costume.

3. Daenerys Targaryen

The Mother of Dragons is known for many things, and her hair is not the least of them. Get Khaleesi’s signature tresses with our Platinum hair extensions, then check out some Youtube braiding tutorials to get the look down (this one from Kayley Melissa is especially amazing!). Finish your look with a grecian goddess-style dress, and maybe a stuffed dragon or three. This is personally one of my favorite halloween costumes for blondes – both glamorous and badass.
4. Sandy from Grease

Look at me, I’m Sandra Dee! Sandy’s iconic transformation from good girl to sultry 50’s bombshell is incredible, and we’re here for it – she’s definitely one of the best halloween costumes for blondes. You’ll definitely want to curl your hair, as Sandy’s look is all about volume – if you need a quick refresher, check out our guide for big voluminous curls here. Complete your costume with a pair of leather pants and an off-the-shoulder top… and don’t forget the red lipstick.
5. Princess Peach

The original queen (or should we say princess) of Nintendo, Princess Peach is a great option if you want to go all-out on your hair! She has crazy big volume, so you’ll want to snag a set or two of clip-in extensions that match your shade of blonde. A pink puff-sleeved dress, along with a crown, will finish off your look.
6. Cher Horowitz

90’s nostalgia is still going strong – and who doesn’t love that classic plaid skirt suit from Clueless? Channel your inner Cher with a yellow plaid ensemble – yes, it must be yellow – and silky-straight blonde tresses. If you want a little extra length without the bulk, try a set of our Seamless clip-in extensions.
7. Marilyn Monroe

We couldn’t have a list of the best halloween costumes for blondes without including the blonde herself. Along with Marilyn’s iconic white halter dress, you’ll want a red lip and a head full of platinum blonde curls. If the white dress is too overdone for you, there’s also her Gentleman Prefer Blondes look – all you need is a pink strapless dress and a statement set of sparkly jewels.
8. Elle Woods

This famously blonde lawyer is definitely one of the best halloween costumes for blondes! Get Elle’s Harvard-chic look with a pink suit set, or go for her iconic study look in a pink fur jacket, sparkly bikini, and capris. Don’t forget to add in a ponytail for her signature blonde style.
9. Marie Antoinette

If you’re feeling daring, this gorgeous 18th century look will certainly turn heads! You’ll need a flouncy dress (the more lace, the better), but you can get creative with a satiny number and some lace trim from Michaels if you don’t want to splurge on a costume. The hair really makes this costume, so you’ll want to practice ahead of time – this tutorial by Katelyn Jones is a great place to start, and it’s easy to add in a few 3″ wefts from our Classic or Seamless sets if you want to get more volume.
